A Libra Sun and Cancer Moon can combine a wish for mutual agreement with attachment to familiar rituals. A clear agreement does not automatically reveal every emotional expectation.

A planet at 10° Cancer and another at 12° Libra have a smaller separation of 92°. Their square orb is 2° from the exact 90° angle.
At 1° Cancer and 29° Libra, the smaller separation is 118°. The 28° orb is outside Astriel's 5° synastry square limit.
That second example is 2° from a trine, which falls within Astriel's limit for that contact. The degrees can describe a different aspect from the one suggested by the sign names.
