Who provides Astriel
Astriel is operated by 28 PORTUGAL OPERATIONS LDA., a Portuguese company with NIPC 518 579 727. Our registered address is Rua Joaquim António de Aguiar 43, 1º Dto, 1070-150 Lisboa, Portugal. Contact [email protected]. These terms cover this website and its public tools.
Version 2026-09-21. When you submit the birth-chart form, we ask you to accept these terms. Merely providing an email address does not subscribe you to marketing.
What the service provides
Astriel provides astrology calculators, descriptions of calculation methods, reference guides and published articles. The public chart tools calculate positions from the details you submit. Symbolic interpretations are material for reflection; they are not established scientific assessments of personality or future events.
The website is free to use. Creating a birth chart saves it in a private browser library. Email verification provides account access on another device. This does not purchase a subscription or start a trial.
Age and use of other people’s details
The service is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Do not submit contact details or personal information that you are not entitled to use. For another person’s chart, obtain their permission where required and use your own email for any marketing choice.
You are responsible for checking the information you enter. Do not use chart comparisons to make decisions about someone’s employment, credit, insurance, housing or access to essential services. A chart does not establish a person’s consent, intentions or suitability for a relationship.
Birth details and calculation limits
Dates, birth times and places affect the calculation. Use the local clock time recorded at the birthplace. If you do not know the time, select the available uncertainty option rather than inventing one. A repeated local time may require you to choose which occurrence your record means.
Methods, supported dates, house systems and uncertainty rules appear on the calculation-method page and in results. Different software can use different assumptions. A calculated output is not a guarantee that the original record is accurate. Correcting your entries can change your result.
We aim to describe limitations clearly and correct verified errors. We do not promise that every feature will be available continuously or that a particular interpretation will match your experience. Report a suspected error to our contact email with only the information needed to investigate it.
Your email and choices
The final birth-chart step asks for your email and acceptance of these terms. Your chart is saved privately. We use the email for a single-use account verification link and later sign-in requests. The account page states when delivery is unavailable and a request is recorded without sending.
An entered address alone cannot access an existing library. After verification, charts from the requesting browser can be added to the library associated with that address. Browser-only libraries hold up to 25 charts. Keep access links private.
Marketing remains an independent, optional choice. Refusing marketing does not prevent saving or accessing a chart. Marketing delivery is not active in this preview. You can withdraw a pending choice through the email-preferences page.
You can download or delete your data through the account page. Sharing a card is a separate action. A downloaded image can be copied or redistributed by its recipients; deleting your account cannot remove those copies.
Use the tools responsibly
Do not attempt to bypass access controls, overload the service, introduce malicious code, obtain another person’s private information or submit unlawful material. Reasonable automated access to public reference material must respect applicable law, published access rules and service capacity.
We may limit requests or suspend abusive use to protect the service and its users. Restrictions should be proportionate to the problem. Contact us if you believe an access restriction is mistaken.
Content and intellectual property
You retain any rights you have in information you submit. You give us the permission needed to process that information for the request you make; this is not permission to sell your birth details or use them in marketing.
Astriel’s original text, design and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party datasets, fonts and software retain their respective licences and attribution requirements. GeoNames place data is licensed under CC BY 4.0.
You may use the tools for personal purposes and share links to public pages. Quotation, accessibility uses and other statutory exceptions remain available. Wider commercial reproduction of our original content requires permission unless the law or an identified licence allows it.
Advice, external links and liability
Do not rely on astrology for medical diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, investment decisions or emergency help. Seek a qualified professional for those matters. The website does not establish clinical, financial or legal facts about you.
External links identify resources that may be useful. Their operators control their own services and privacy practices. A link is not a promise that their information is accurate or that their service will remain available.
We are responsible as required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights or liability for intentional misconduct. We do not require you to waive statutory remedies. No arbitrary damages cap is imposed by these terms.
Changes, complaints and applicable law
We may revise the website and these terms. The version date identifies the text currently presented. Material changes to a consent-based use of personal data require an appropriate new choice; a terms update does not retroactively expand marketing consent.
Portuguese law applies, subject to mandatory protections that apply in your country of habitual residence. These terms do not remove a consumer’s right to bring a claim before a court available under mandatory law. No mandatory private arbitration or exclusive Lisbon court requirement is imposed.
Contact [email protected] to raise a complaint. Include a description of the problem and a way to respond. Data-protection complaints can also be submitted to the Portuguese supervisory authority, CNPD. Mandatory complaint and dispute-resolution channels remain available where applicable.
