Reading Sun in Capricorn

Sun in Capricorn is associated with building confidence through responsibility and sustained effort. Completing a demanding project can matter because it proves what you can do. The tension comes when achievement becomes the only way you recognize your own value.

Capricorn is cardinal earth. Earth concerns practical conditions; cardinal describes initiating a course of action. This combination gives the Sun a theme of organizing effort toward an outcome that can be maintained.

Responsibility can provide purpose when its limits are understood. Accepting every obligation can make achievement difficult to distinguish from exhaustion. A reading should examine the actual role before praising endurance or assuming ambition.

The same birthday can produce different charts

The Moon and other planets move independently of the Sun. People born on December 23 in different years can have different Moon signs and planetary aspects.

Birth time and location also change the Ascendant and houses. Astriel uses Placidus: the Sun's house follows its position between calculated cusps. Its zodiac sign alone cannot supply a house number.

If the birth time is unknown, choose that option in the calculator. A date crossing a sign boundary can leave the Sun sign unresolved; houses remain unavailable.
