Two-chart reference
Venus conjunct Saturn in synastry
Venus conjunct Saturn in synastry brings one person's affection and values close to the other's commitments and limits. The central question is how care takes a dependable, mutually wanted form.

Venus describes what someone enjoys, appreciates and wants to share. Saturn introduces time, responsibility and conditions. A conjunction brings these subjects into the same exchange: keeping a promise can express affection, while an obligation can also crowd out pleasure.
A's Venus conjunct B's Saturn
Person A is the first person entered in the calculator. In this contact, A supplies the affection and preference theme; B supplies the commitment and limit theme.

A enjoys marking an anniversary with time together. B protects an evening in a busy schedule and follows through. Capricorn supplies the example's emphasis on practical commitment. The gesture works because A wants that time; completing a task that A never requested may communicate something different.
A's Saturn conjunct B's Venus
With A's Saturn and B's Venus, A's commitments meet B's preferences. A might see keeping the arrangement as care, while B also wants warmth during the evening. Ask what the promised action means to each person before assuming both experience it as affection.
If both directions appear in the result, read each with its own orb and birth-time certainty. The labels do not assign gender, age or authority.
Read the interaction, then the wider chart
Dependability and enjoyment answer different questions. Someone can keep every appointment while the time together feels distant. Someone can express affection while repeatedly failing to follow through. This contact invites a reading of both, without making either person responsible for all the work.
Each person's natal Venus adds their own approach to affection. Their natal Saturn adds the limits and obligations they bring into relationships.
A house overlay answers a separate question: where one person's planet falls in the other's chart. Astriel uses the receiving person's calculated Placidus cusps by default. This aspect alone does not identify a house.
Which shared commitment also makes room for something both people enjoy?
Check the angle before interpreting it
Measure the smaller separation between the two zodiac longitudes, then its distance from 0°. Astriel includes this synastry contact at an orb of 6° or less.
At exactly 6°, it fits the rule. At 6.1°, it falls outside. Signs alone do not establish the contact.
Both planets move during a birth-time range. A conditional contact fits the limit for only part of that range. Use its reported interval instead of treating a midpoint as exact.
Does Saturn mean a relationship will last?
Saturn symbolizes continuity and obligation in this tradition. That symbolism cannot establish how long a relationship will last or whether staying together would be welcome.
Interpret the contact alongside actual behavior. A difficult aspect never requires accepting control or mistreatment; an easy aspect does not establish that a relationship is safe.
Source and method
These lessons adapt the owner-supplied astrology reference, Part VI, Venus interaspects and Saturn contacts. Examples are original hypothetical scenarios. Claims about marriage duration, age gaps or inevitable rejection are not adopted.
Orb limits follow Astriel's relationship-v1 calculation. A natal Venus-Saturn aspect describes one chart; synastry compares planets from two different charts.
