Aries compatibility

Aries brings initiative into a relationship comparison. Cardinal fire describes starting with a clear desire and acting on it. The useful comparison is how that direct approach meets another person's pace.

A Sun sign supplies one part of the comparison. Your Moon and Venus can describe different needs and preferences.

How the Aries theme meets another style

A quick invitation can make an intention easy to understand. It can also leave little time for the other person to decide. With Libra, the contrasting theme is consultation; with another Aries placement, both can want to begin on their own terms.

Two preferences in the same situation

An Aries placement suggests booking a weekend activity today. A Cancer placement gives priority to who will be there and whether the setting feels familiar. The example compares speed with preparation.

Read Aries through the planet

The planet identifies the topic; the sign describes its style. Use the placement in your chart rather than applying every Aries description to yourself.

Compare degrees before naming an aspect

Signs alone cannot establish a close planetary contact. Two planets at 1° and 29° in the same sign are 28° apart. Sharing a sign does not make them conjunct under Astriel's synastry rules.

Two planets at 29° of one sign and 1° of the next are only 2° apart. A conjunction can cross a sign boundary.

A two-chart comparison checks the actual positions and keeps uncertain birth times visible. No sign pairing establishes attraction, consent or a relationship outcome.
