What this placement means
The 6th concerns labor that maintains everyday life. Uranus adds the wish to revise an arrangement that has become restrictive. The tension is between useful adaptation and changing a method before it has been understood. Historical health symbolism cannot diagnose a condition or establish a treatment.
A worked example
Revising a daily method: a chart comparison
A team tests a shorter handover form because the old version hides unfinished tasks among routine notes. Uranus supplies the revised method; the 6th house concerns the work repeated each day. The change can be judged by whether the next shift understands what remains to do. A measured Mercury aspect would add another chart factor, rather than being implied by the topic of communication.
How this fits into your full chart
The 6th house tells you which area of life is involved: daily work and routines. Uranus brings its themes of independence and change into that area. Its sign adds how those themes are expressed.
Astriel uses Placidus by default. Each house begins at a calculated boundary, called a cusp, and ends at the next cusp. Use the house number beside Uranus in your chart.
Add your Uranus sign
Find Uranus's sign in your chart's positions table and read it alongside this house placement. For instance, a planet in Aries emphasizes taking the first step; in Taurus, it emphasizes keeping a steady course.
Use the sign written beside the planet. A house can include more than one sign, so the sign at its beginning can differ from the planet's sign.

An aspect is an angle between two chart positions. Read the rows involving Uranus in your chart's aspect table. The other planet adds another need or concern to independence and change.
A square is usually read as a challenge in combining those needs. A trine suggests that they work together more easily. The orb tells you how far the angle is from exact; a smaller orb means a closer contact.

The sign on the house's starting cusp has a ruling planet. Find that sign's traditional ruler, then look for the ruler in your chart. Its house connects the two areas of life.
For example, Leo on the 2nd-house cusp makes the Sun its ruler. If the Sun is in the 10th, a reading connects personal resources with public work.

What if my birth time is uncertain?
Astriel leaves houses unavailable for approximate or unknown times. A familiar description cannot resolve that uncertainty.
You can still read Uranus sign information supported by your entered birth period. Do not choose a house because its description sounds right.
Calculate the available Uranus positionWhy does another site show a different house?
Compare the entered birth details, time zone, zodiac and house system. Astriel uses Placidus by default. Its calculated cusps determine the house containing Uranus. A different house system can assign that position to another house.
Verify those settings before comparing interpretations. In Placidus, the Midheaven is the 10th cusp; a planet in that house is not automatically conjunct it.

People can share a Uranus sign while having different Placidus cusps. Birth time and location change those boundaries, so Uranus can occupy different houses.
Use the house calculated from your own birth details. A shared sign does not supply a shared house or establish a shared personality.

This guide concerns Uranus in your birth chart. A current Uranus transit and another person's Uranus overlaid on your chart are different calculations.
Their house number alone does not make these readings interchangeable.
