Giving an idea definition
A boundary can make an idea usable. Defining the question, its assumptions and its limits is different from rejecting the idea. This is the distinction used in our Saturn comparison.

An everyday example
A designer proposes a shared garden. Someone checks the sunlight, available area and maintenance needs. Those details turn an appealing proposal into something people can evaluate. The Binah analogy concerns this development of understanding, including what the proposal cannot yet answer.
The Saturn correspondence
The Saturn association supplies an interpretive comparison with limits and structure. A Saturn placement still needs its calculated sign, Placidus house and aspects.
This association comes from Mathers's 1887 table, introduction section 53.

The sefirot belong to Jewish Kabbalah. Chabad's account of the ten sefirot explains the names and counting variants; its Sefirot chapter explains the religious context. The planetary association used here is a later Hermetic layer.
The everyday example is an Astriel analogy, not a traditional quotation. Reviewed 20 September 2026.
