Where an intention takes effect
The final position does not mean least valuable. A plan that remains an intention has a different status from a plan that changes what people experience.

Original teaching analogy
An everyday example
A community designs an accessible meeting place. The entrance, seating and actual use of the room reveal what the design achieved. This original Malkhut analogy asks readers to examine the outcome rather than assume that a well-meant proposal fulfilled its purpose.
The Elements correspondence
Mathers lists the elements here. Earth is a common shorthand for material expression, but the entry is not a natal Earth position or an extra astrological house.
This association comes from Mathers's 1887 table, introduction section 53.
Compare all ten correspondencesContext and sources
The sefirot belong to Jewish Kabbalah. Chabad's account of the ten sefirot explains the names and counting variants; its Sefirot chapter explains the religious context. The planetary association used here is a later Hermetic layer.
The everyday example is an Astriel analogy, not a traditional quotation. Reviewed 20 September 2026.
